Ingredients for Tahini-walnut magic shell
30 g raw walnuts
85 g white chocolate, chopped
80 ml refined coconut oil
60 g tahini
10 ml vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
pinch of kosher salt
How to make Tahini-walnut magic shell
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan) or 190°C (conventional).
Spread the walnuts out on a small rimmed baking tray. Toast them in the oven for 8–10 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown. Allow to cool.
Meanwhile, place the white chocolate, oil, and tahini in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on low heat in 15-second bursts, stirring after each burst, until melted and well combined.
Process the cooled walnuts in a food processor until a paste forms. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add the vanilla bean paste and salt. Pulse to combine.
With the motor running, gradually pour in the melted white chocolate mixture and process until smooth. Use immediately.
