This spice-rubbed steak with white beans and cherry tomatoes is a vibrant, high-protein meal that brings bold, smoky flavours to the dinner table. Rubbed with a punchy blend of cumin, chilli, and oregano, the sirloin steak is seared until perfectly tender and juicy. The heat of the spices is beautifully balanced by the natural sweetness of blistered cherry tomatoes and the creamy texture of the cannellini beans, creating a satisfying lunch or dinner that feels both nourishing and indulgent.
Ideal for busy weeknights when you want a nutritious meal without the fuss, this dish relies on store-cupboard staples like tinned beans and dried herbs. The entire recipe comes together in a single frying pan, minimalising the washing up while maximising the savoury pan juices. Serve it precisely as it is for a low-carb option, or with a slice of crusty bread to soak up every bit of the fragrant garlic and cumin oil.
