Garlicky Linguine with Crab, Red pepper and Pine Nuts

This garlicky linguine with crab, red pepper and pine nuts is a sophisticated yet simple seafood dish that brings the flavours of the Mediterranean to your kitchen. The sweetness of the fresh lump crabmeat pairs beautifully with the subtle heat of the dried chillies and the crunch of toasted pine nuts. Using a base of white wine and clam juice creates a light, silky sauce that coats every strand of pasta without being overly heavy.

As a high-protein dinner option, this recipe is perfect for those looking for a nutritious meal that feels like a weekend treat. It is quick enough for a weeknight supper but elegant enough to serve to guests at a dinner party. Serve it with a crisp green salad and plenty of freshly grated Parmesan to complement the delicate seafood and vibrant parsley.

How to make Garlicky Linguine with Crab, Red pepper and Pine Nuts

Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add pepper; cover and cook 2 minutes. Add garlic and crushed red pepper; cover and cook 2 minutes. Increase heat to high, add wine and boil 2 minutes. Set aside.

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite, stirring occasionally. Drain pasta, reserving 120ml cooking water.

Return pasta to pot. Add clam juice, 120ml cooking water and pepper mixture. Cook over high heat until pasta absorbs half of liquid, about 2 minutes.
