Jamaican Jerk Salmon and Mango Pineapple Salsa

This vibrant Jamaican jerk salmon with mango pineapple salsa is a wonderful way to bring a taste of the Caribbean into your kitchen. The dish perfectly balances the warming heat of traditional jerk spices—including allspice, thyme and a hint of cayenne—with a refreshing, zesty fruit base. By using skin-on salmon fillets, you achieve a lovely contrast between the crisp, spiced exterior and the succulent, tender fish within.

As a heart-healthy main course, this recipe is naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and packed with fibre from the black beans and fresh fruit. It is an ideal choice for a nutritious midweek dinner or a light weekend lunch. For a more substantial meal, serve the salmon alongside a portion of fluffy wholegrain rice or a crisp green salad to complement the bold, tropical flavours.
