Lamb Chops with Dried Cherries and Port

These succulent lamb chops with dried cherries and port offer a sophisticated balance of savoury and sweet flavours. The richness of the lamb is perfectly offset by the acidic tang of balsamic vinegar and the aromatic warmth of ground cardamom. Using ruby Port and cherry jam creates a glossy, professional-looking sauce that transforms a simple midweek meal into a restaurant-quality dish.

As a naturally dairy-free main course, this recipe is an excellent choice for those hosting guests with dietary requirements without compromising on indulgence. The dried tart cherries provide a wonderful chewy texture that complements the tender meat beautifully. Serve these chops alongside roasted root vegetables or a crisp green salad for a complete and elegant evening meal.
