myelin protein zero

El MPZ gene provides instructions for making a protein called myelin protein zero. It is the most abundant protein in myelin, a protective substance that covers nerves and promotes the efficient transmission of nerve impulses. Myelin protein zero is produced by specialized cells called Schwann cells, which wrap around and insulate peripheral nerves. Peripheral nerves connect the brain and spinal cord to muscles and to sensory cells that detect sensations such as touch, pain, heat, and sound. Myelin protein zero is required for the proper formation and maintenance of myelin. This protein is an adhesion molecule, which means it acts like molecular glue. It plays a role in tightly packing the myelin around nerve cells (myelin compaction).

What are liver function tests used for. Liver function tests are aimed at giving a picture of the 'state' of your liver. They are a sensitive way of looking for liver strain or liver damage, as they often show this well before you get any symptoms or problems with your liver. This means that the cause of liver strain or damage can be diagnosed.

¿Puedo tomar Amitriptilina y Esomeprazol juntos?

Taking esomeprazole alongside amitriptyline may increase the levels of amitriptyline in tu bloodstream. Por qué sucede esto Amitriptyline is broken down in the liver by specific proteins (enzymes). Esomeprazole can slow down the activity of these proteins, which means the amitriptilina stays in your system longer and reaches higher levels than.
