There is no known direct interaction between omeprazole and ramipril. These two medicines are commonly prescribed together and are generally safe to take at the same time.

Why this happens
Omeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor for stomach acid) and ramipril (an ACE inhibitor for blood pressure) are processed by different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other works.
What you should do
You can continue taking both medicines as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually best to take omeprazole in the morning before breakfast, while ramipril can be taken at any time of day as long as you are consistent.
