There is no known direct interaction between apixaban and metformin. They are generally safe to take together.

Why this happens
Apixaban is a blood thinner (anticoagulant) and metformin is a medicine for type 2 diabetes. They work in completely different ways in the body and are processed by different organs and enzymes, so they do not interfere with each other.
What you should do
You can continue taking both medicines as prescribed by your doctor. However, always ensure your doctor knows all the medications you are taking, and monitor your blood sugar levels as usual.

Bisoprolol may cause the airways to narrow, making it harder to breathe and potentially triggering asthma or COPD symptoms. It also makes the formoterol in the Trimbow inhaler less effective at opening your airways.
