El SCN5A gene belongs to a family of genes that provide instructions for making sodium channels. These channels open and close at specific times to control the flow of positively charged sodium atoms (sodium ions) into cells. The sodium channels containing proteins produced from the SCN5A gene are abundant in heart (cardiac) muscle cells and play key roles in these cells' ability to generate and transmit electrical signals. These channels play a major role in signaling the start of each heartbeat, coordinating the contractions of the upper and lower chambers of the heart, and maintaining a normal heart rhythm.

Triptans work by imitating the action of a brain chemical called 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT). 5-HT is also known as serotonin. 5-HT gives instruction to cells by attaching to specific sites (receptors) on the outside of them, rather like a password triggering a computer programme or a key opening a lock. Síndrome anticonvulsivo fetal
For women with epilepsy who are not taking medicines called antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) , the chance of the baby having a major problem (such as fetal anticonvulsant syndrome (FACS)) is similar to the risk of women who do not have epi. One study showed that approximately 3 babies out of 100 born to these women, would have a malformation. For women.

Diuréticos ahorradores de potasio
Diuréticos are medicines which increase the amount of fluid removed from the body when we pass urine. Potassium-sparing diuretics are one type of diuretic. They are weak diuretics usually prescribed in combination with other types of diuretics. They are used to increase the amount of fluid passed from the body in urine, whilst also preventing too.

Dieta en la enfermedad renal crónica
Enfermedad renal crónica (CKD) es un common long-term condition where the kidneys aren't working as well as they should be. There are some dietary choices that are recommended for people with early CKD. People with more advanced CKD may be advised to follow a special diet, usually with the support of a specialist dietician. Some people with advanced.

¿Puedo tomar Magnesio y Flecainida juntos?
In some cases, magnesium can actually be helpful for heart rhythm issues, but it must be balanced correctly. Why this happens Both magnesium and flecainide affect the electrical signals and mineral channels (like sodium and potassium) in your heart cells. While they don't usually stop each other from being absorbed, having too much or too little.

Mallory-Weiss tear
Mallory-Weiss syndrome (also called Mallory-Weiss tear) is the name given to bleeding and other symptoms caused by a tear in the lining of the upper part of the gut (gastrointestinal tract). It is usually diagnosed by having a test called a gastroscopy (endoscopy). This involves a tube being passed down through the gullet (oesophagus) into the.
