There is no known direct interaction between amoxicillin and sertraline. It is generally considered safe to take these two medications together.

Why this happens
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic cleared by the kidneys, while sertraline is an antidepressant processed by the liver. They do not interfere with each other's absorption, metabolism, or effects on the body.
What you should do
You can take both medications as prescribed by your doctor. However, be aware that both medications can sometimes cause side effects like diarrhoea or an upset stomach. If you experience severe diarrhoea while taking the antibiotic, contact your GP.
