Frisée Salad with Blue Cheese, Walnut, and Cranberry Crostini

This elegant frisée salad with blue cheese, walnut and cranberry crostini offers a sophisticated balance of savoury flavours and varied textures. The slightly bitter leaves of the baby frisée pair beautifully with the sharp, creamy blue cheese and the subtle sweetness of the dried cranberries. Toasted walnuts provide a satisfying crunch, while the aromatic walnut oil dressing adds a rich, nutty depth to the entire dish.

As a versatile vegetarian starter, this recipe is ideal for hosting dinner parties or for enjoying as a refined weekend lunch. The warm, melted cheese on crisp ciabatta provides a comforting contrast to the fresh, zesty salad. For the best results, use a high-quality blue cheese such as Stilton or Roquefort to complement the vibrant vinegar dressing.
