Celery and Potato Salad

This classic celery and potato salad is a refreshing twist on a traditional vegetarian side dish. By using small yellow potatoes and a generous amount of sliced celery, the recipe achieves a wonderful balance of creamy textures and crisp, fresh flavours. The addition of malt vinegar to the warm potatoes ensures they absorb plenty of tang, while the soured cream and mayonnaise dressing provides a rich, velvety finish that complements the crunch of the onion.

Ideal for summer entertaining, this versatile salad is a fantastic accompaniment to a Sunday roast or a seasonal barbecue spread. It is a hearty, homemade option for those seeking a comforting dish that can be prepared in advance. Serve it chilled or at room temperature for a simple, healthy addition to any midweek meal or weekend picnic.
