This vibrant coriander and mint chutney is a staple condiment that brings a refreshing, herbaceous lift to any Indian-inspired feast. The combination of fresh coriander sprigs and cooling mint leaves creates a bright, zesty flavour profile, sharpened by a squeeze of lime and a hint of white onion. It is a wonderfully versatile vegan sauce that balances heat and acidity, making it an essential accompaniment for your favourite savoury snacks.
Quick to prepare and naturally healthy, this homemade green chutney is much more flavourful than shop-bought versions. It works beautifully as a dip for crispy onion bhajis and pakoras, or drizzled over grilled vegetables and chickpeas. For a milder finish, you can easily adjust the amount of green chilli to suit your preference while maintaining that signature punchy finish.
