By using lean minced beef and incorporating grated red pepper directly into the patties, you achieve a succulent texture and a boost of nutrients. The addition of a zesty, homemade salsa made with fresh corn, lime and coriander provides a bright contrast to the savoury beef, making every bite feel light and refreshing.

Perfect for a mid-week meal or a healthy weekend lunch, this burger recipe is quick to assemble and easy to cook on a grill or frying pan. Serving these patties in whole-wheat buns adds extra fibre, creating a balanced and satisfying dish. Pair them with grilled peppers or a crisp green salad for a complete meal that feels like a treat while supporting a healthy lifestyle.
