What you should do

If you have an autoimmune condition (like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis), are taking blood-thinning medication (like warfarin), or take medicine for diabetes, speak to your doctor before combining these supplements. If you are scheduled for surgery, stop taking both at least two weeks beforehand.
