This smoky barbecue snack mix is a crowd-pleasing vegetarian treat that balances savoury spices with a hint of sweetness. Combining crunchy corn nuts, cheesy crackers and light popcorn, it offers a satisfying texture that is hard to resist. The deep red hue from the smoked paprika and chilli powder makes it a fitting addition to a themed party table or a comforting snack for a family film night.
Quick to assemble and baked until perfectly crisp, this homemade alternative to shop-bought snacks is easily customised to your taste. The addition of Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder provides a complex depth of flavour, while the optional dash of Tabasco adds a gentle heat. Serve it in a large bowl and watch it disappear in minutes.
