This vibrant vegan dish of radishes with dukkah is a sophisticated yet simple way to start a meal or enjoy a healthy afternoon snack. The recipe focuses on the contrasting textures of crunchy, peppery breakfast radishes and a nutty, aromatic Egyptian-inspired spice blend. By toasting the pistachios, pine nuts and whole seeds yourself, you unlock a deep savoury flavour that shop-bought versions rarely match.
Ideal for light entertaining or as a nutritious plant-based nibble, this dish is naturally gluten-free and packed with healthy fats. The peppery bite of the radishes offers a refreshing counterpoint to the earthy, toasted notes of the cumin and coriander. Serve these on a large platter with a high-quality extra virgin olive oil for a beautiful, interactive dining experience.
