Baked Parsnip Chips with Rosemary

These roasted parsnip chips with rosemary offer a sophisticated twist on a classic root vegetable side. By oven-baking rather than deep-frying, the parsnips develop a natural sweetness that pairs beautifully with the earthy notes of fresh rosemary and pungent garlic. The addition of ground cumin provides a subtle heat and aromatic depth, elevating the humble parsnip into something truly special. It is a fantastic alternative to traditional potato chips for those seeking a more complex flavour profile.

As a naturally vegan and gluten-free option, this dish fits perfectly into a healthy lifestyle or a festive Sunday roast. These chips are best served straight from the oven while they are at their crispest. Whether you are looking for a nutritious snack or a savoury accompaniment to a main course, these fragrant roasted vegetables are sure to become a firm family favourite.
