Asian Avocado Salsa

This vibrant Asian avocado salsa is a refreshing vegan dish that brings a sophisticated twist to your standard dip. Combining the creamy texture of ripe avocados with the crisp, apple-like crunch of jicama and peppery watercress, it offers a wonderful contrast of textures. The dressing, spiked with warming wasabi and toasted sesame oil, provides a savoury depth that perfectly balances the brightness of the rice vinegar.

Ideal as a light summer starter or a contemporary side dish for grilled mains, this salsa is both healthy and simple to assemble. The addition of toasted sesame seeds adds a nutty finish that elevates the fragrant flavours. Serve it chilled to ensure the watercress stays crisp and the avocado remain perfectly firm for your guests.
