Why this happens

Both vortioxetine (an antidepressant) and zopiclone (a sleeping pill) affect the central nervous system. When used together, their sedative effects add up, leading to increased drowsiness and impaired coordination.

Use this combination with caution. Do not drive, operate machinery, or perform dangerous tasks until you know how these medicines affect you together. Avoid drinking alcohol, as this will make the sleepiness much worse. If you feel excessively drowsy or confused, contact your doctor to see if your doses need adjusting.
