Why this happens
Both substances can relax and widen your blood vessels. Nicorandil is a medication specifically designed to do this to treat chest pain (angina). Magnesium also has a natural mild effect on relaxing blood vessels. When used together, these effects can add up, potentially lowering your blood pressure more than expected.
What you should do
