Can I take Ashwagandha and Vitamin d2 together?

There are no known significant interactions between ashwagandha and vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol). It is generally considered safe to take these two supplements together.

Why this happens

Ashwagandha and vitamin D2 are processed by the body through different pathways. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that primarily affects the body's stress response, while vitamin D2 is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in calcium absorption and bone health. They do not interfere with each other's absorption, metabolism, or effectiveness.

You can continue taking both supplements as directed. As with any supplement, it is best to take vitamin D2 with a meal containing some fat to help your body absorb it properly. If you experience any unusual symptoms, consult your pharmacist or GP.
