Can I take Amlodipine besilate and Msm together?

Why this happens

Amlodipine works by relaxing blood vessels to lower blood pressure. MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a supplement often used for joint pain; while its effects on blood pressure are not well-studied in humans, some animal studies suggest it may have mild anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory (vessel-widening) properties that could overlap with amlodipine.

It is generally considered safe to take these together. However, as with any new supplement, you should monitor your blood pressure at home for the first week. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unusually tired, speak to your GP or pharmacist. Always inform your doctor about all supplements you are taking.
