Can I take Accrete d3 and Letrozole together?

There is no known direct harmful interaction between Accrete D3 and letrozole. In fact, these two medicines are very commonly prescribed together because letrozole can cause bone thinning, and Accrete D3 helps to protect your bones.

Why this happens

Accrete D3 provides calcium and vitamin D3, which are essential building blocks for bone health. Letrozole works by lowering oestrogen levels to treat breast cancer, but because oestrogen protects bones, this treatment can lead to bone loss (osteoporosis). Accrete D3 helps counteract this side effect.

It is safe and often recommended to take these medicines together. You should continue taking both as prescribed by your doctor. To ensure the best absorption of the calcium in Accrete D3, it is usually best to take it with a meal.
