Why this happens

Abrysvo is a vaccine that works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure. These two substances work through entirely different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed, broken down, or used by the body.

You can continue taking your amlodipine as prescribed. You do not need to space the doses apart from your vaccination. As with any vaccine, you may experience mild side effects like a sore arm or a slight fever, but these are not caused by your medication.
