Can I take 50 and Vedolizumab together?

Why this happens

Vedolizumab is a monoclonal antibody that works specifically in the gut, while paracetamol is processed by the liver. There are no known pathways where these two drugs interfere with each other's absorption or metabolism.

It is generally considered safe to take paracetamol for pain or fever while on vedolizumab. However, you should always inform your specialist before starting any new medication. If you develop signs of an infection (like a high temperature or sore throat), contact your doctor immediately, as vedolizumab can mask some symptoms or make infections harder to fight. Always stick to the recommended dose of paracetamol and avoid or strictly limit alcohol to protect your liver.
